Three PKO footballers delivered outstanding performances at the Agazy Tournament trials held under the Tema City Football Club, impressing coaches and earning qualification for the next stage of the competition.

Striker Christian Abossey, who can also operate from the left wing, showcased his versatility and attacking quality throughout the trials.

He was joined by Olai Kotey, a natural left winger whose pace and creativity caught the eye, as well as striker Khamza Cobbina, who stood out with his sharp finishing and intelligent movement in the final third.

The trials took place at the Community 11 Complex Park in Tema and attracted a strong pool of talent from across the region. Designed to assess player performance and identify top prospects, the exercise saw the PKO trio rise above the competition to secure places among the selected players.

They will now enter a week-long training camp to prepare as a team ahead of the tournament, where scouts from several European clubs are expected to be in attendance.

PKO’s Head of Events and Talent Development, Joseph Hammond, expressed his satisfaction with the players’ performances and development.
