Kutu Acheampong did a lot more good productive things for Ghana than many others since the time of Nkrumah. It was during his time under OPERATION FEED YOURSELF that there was too much food in Ghana. Yes, Ghana for the first time exported food to even other countries in Africa and the world.
Such a person who was even retired from any Action Military Service and was resting at his hometown, not involved in any form of Politics or Government was arrested at his village at TRABUOM(A village that I knew very well), put to trial by a Stupid Military Tribunal), and under stupid and nasty charges including an idiotic one that he loved many women. Were Rawlings, Boakye Djan and the Tsikatas who had him killed only with their wives? Well, that was the time that Ghanaians were forced to live under fear and under THE CULTURE OF SILENCE.
