In all what we are being told coming from female lawyers and council for the woman we don't know who send the divorce matter to court. Who is the plaintiff and who is the Respondent.
The matter is that its a party that abrogates a contract who compensate the other party and that is my beef.
We are being told that both parties setup the company. But what is the agreement therein the setting up the company, that when one member decides no more to be in the company what is he or she supposed to do.
So, let's look at the matter of the partnership in business before tackling the matter in the marriage.
I am of the view that in a company, when one of the parties decide to leave, he cannot just wakeup, pack his things and leave, then later come to ask for compensation.
That is not the case with even an employer and employee, so cannot be with a business partner.
On the divorce, the matter is that the one who sends the matter to court is the one who breaches the marriage agreement, thus is supposed to compensate the other party.
So if there is equity that what is good for the goose is equally good for the gander.
Whiles its the case of the goose to compensate the gander for abrogating the contract, so when the gander abrogates the contract it must also compensate the goose.
But the matter is that a marriage is not an employment contract.Thus why should one party pay money to the other party when its dissolved.
