Look at the French team for example, the moment they saw a a young Mbappe’s talent, they gave him the captaincy BECAUSE that was the type of energy and commitment they wanted the French team to embody. Why does African leaders not see talents in others and give them real opportunities that match it? Essien can be placed in a proximity paid position to the current black stars squad, who definitely will have a lots of real respect for what he represents as a player - “Ghanaian football Excellence”. But to protect their own unimportant ego’s, some leaders will not promote real talents to positions of influence or will only do so without a payment to discourage them. Shameless.

Yes, we use to have talents, but at this time we don't have any. Ghana need to rebuild for the future. You can't play players who are warming up benches in europe and captains who are not first team players. SUCKS.
