This IPP contracts should remind Ghanaians what it is to be recolonized by controlling vital resources , let alone talk about privatization of your energy generation and supply chains. You build dams and cannot produce enough electricity, you under invest in solar energy, you sign contracts with IPPs and PAY for power you don’t even consume. What!!!! Germany and the Netherlands, with less sunlight in a year than Ghana, produces more solar energy than Ghana and as a matter of fact many African countries combined. Surely, pay your debt, but where is your energy game plan, people? Off to the side chick conference because I’m bored.

Exactly, @Hamburg. The way to sovereignty is to free yourself from debt. Borrow, but have a clear sustainable plan to pay without default. Don't overspend your income. Can our leaders show the discipline required to do it?
