America is a nation of laws and they are aware of the corruption of African politicians and they may be willing to assist African governments in the forfeiture of assets of corrupt African politicians in the US . The US has helped in seizing some assets of the son of an African President based in the US . Ghana does not want to instill in our corrupt politicians that they can avoid prosecution by going into a foreign country. Ofori Atta should not escape from prosecution considering the extent of corruption that he was involved in. Even late Sir John does not come anywhere near that of Ofori Atta.
