  Ghana is not a serious country. Why is the government involved in this funeral which should strictly be a family,friends and well -wishers affair? Is it because the father is a 'man of God'? The government and Ghanaians shold stop wasting state monies on funerals. What benefits do we get from them? State or state assited funerals for what? They are archaic and bring no benefits to Ghana.

  While sympathize with the family of the two brothers, I fail to see why any government will get involved in the funeral of private citizens merely because they perished in a mini-helicopter crash. The only reason why the government has decided to do so is to pander to religious groups today for political votes tomorrow. This must be part of the President's plan to plant churches across Ghana to spread the word of God. No wonder the country still doesn't even have a meaningful plan to combat galamsey. Can the government explain why it doesn't assist the funerals of many Ghanaians who die in auto accidents daily on Ghana's roads? Could it be that those lives aren't worth potential religious votes in up-coming elections? It will come as no surprise to see this government, in the next two years, resume the building of Akufo-Addo's sham national cathedral as part of President Mahama's designed plan of pandering to quack pastors and quack prophets.
