If you already have an LLB, you will immediately be subject to the new process, which is:
1) Go through the Clinical program (in a certified Law-offering institution)
A prerequisite for (2) below, then
2) Sit for the national bar exam.
You pass (2), you're called to the bar.

In fact icag also need to adjust. In the US, you can't become a chartered accountant without a first degree in accounting. Why ghana doesn't want to follow . Non degree qualified accountants have extremely NARROW knowledge which consists of passing 14 courses or papers to become a CA. Meanwhile a degree in accounting is far far equipped with more knowledge in their undergraduate thus 42 courses or papers, in addition to 8 papers at the professional level. I think that's what attorney General was juxtaposing to the new law program not the imbecile NARROW 14 papers chartered accountants. The NARROW 14 papers chartered accountants are bombs and nor fit for purpose except for stealing public funds, but intellectually they are not there . It is time ICA consider accounting intellectuals from the universities just like how it is done in the US in order to purge out the system of those NARROW 14 who are intellectually vacuous and thieves.
