Why is it that Otokunor is the only one who is responds to silly and obvious situations? Is it that he’s been marked as a fool or someone without a functioning brain? He behaves like Chemical Ali (the prolific liar and idiot) during Sadam Hussein’s regime. Does he realize that this will be a stain on himself, his family and children for the future? ANYWAY HE MUST URGENTLY GO AND FIX HIS TEETH SHARP. LIES, LIES AND DAMNED LIES. GO AND GROW THE TOMATOES AND STOP THE NOISE. NANIAMA.

Ghanaians dont know the value if water. We evrn sometimes dump building waste into watet bodies yk reclaim the land for building. In Burkina, it is the othet way round. They respect water. They value and protect it. Water is life to them. Any little water they have, they turn it into food. Go around our big cities. Anywhere their is water, these people will produce lettuce, carrots and other vegetables for us. Yes, they are Burkinabes. With the vast amount of water we have in Ghana, we should be exporting tomatoes.
We should learn from them.

Rather, the Ghanaian prefer someone else doing the hardwork growing the tomatoes. He will go and buy at the farm gate. Wouldn't mind if 75% gets rotten during transportation. He will still sell the rest 25% and the rotten ones and make 500% profit and say business is good.

All these explanations are not necessary, this ban is even a good omen for us as a country which we should take advantage of. For it is said that, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. All we need to do is to fix our irrigational system and encourage the farmers to do all year farming once they are assured of ready market they will cooperate fully. The government should also set up or revamp the defunct tomato manufacturing companies in the country to process about 50% of the tomatoes produced here for both export and local consumption. This will ensure that, as a country we will not waste our hard earned dollars to import even processed tomatoes from Burkina Faso.
