Tottenham manager Igor Tudor has revealed that Kudus Mohammed is making significant progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury and could return to action soon.
This is a boost not only for Spurs but also for Ghana's 2026 World Cup preparations.
Mohammed Kudus has been out of action since January, delivering a significant setback to Spurs as they struggle in their fight to avoid relegation.
But Tudor, speaking ahead of Sunday's crucial Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest, indicated that the former West Ham star is edging closer to a return.
"We have these three big weeks after the game on Sunday. [Kudus will return for] probably some part of things with the squad, maybe in ten days? I'm not sure; we need to check, but he is progressing very well, already with the ball," Tudor said.
The Ghana international has been working on his fitness and has now returned to training with the ball, a significant milestone in his rehabilitation.
Tudor also mentioned that James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur are making progress, with the Croatian hoping for a "nice surprise" from the medical staff in the coming weeks.
"We hope the medical staff will make us some nice surprises. It will be very, very, very important to have them."
Spurs currently sit 16th on the Premier League table, just one point above the relegation zone, with Sunday's clash against Nottingham Forest representing a six-pointer at the bottom.
The return of Kudus would provide a significant boost to Tottenham's survival hopes as the season enters its decisive phase.
