Dafeake-who, it is not the responsibility if the Ghana Air Force to ensure maintenance of a private or commercial aircraft. You have a reasonable concern but you - and Parliament - must direct your concern to the appropriate authority. In the US we have the Federal Aviation Administration. Aircraft maitenance must be reported to the FAA. We should consider this rather than a useless office for a 24-hour economy.

Oh Ghana, when are we going to stop our firefighting approach to problem solving? Since independence, we have not solved one national problem. We always wait for the problem to occur before giving recommendations which are NEVER applied! Just look at the kind of trotro plying our roads. In less than 10 years another MP would be making the same submission, what's wrong with us? Our politicians have succeeded in keeping a large percentage of Ghanaians ignorant so they can manipulate them to get what they want and that is our bane.

Secondly, why the GAF must be responsible for a private company's aircraft maintenance?
Thirdly, does Ghana have any law or regulation concerning motor vehicles and their maintenance since there are daily accidents all over the country?
Lastly, why do people keep on voting these fools and non-thinkers into parliament over and over?
