We are about to undertake a very important assignment (the preparation for the world cup) and this is the time we decide to destabilise the team? What exactly do we need Andre in the team for? Don't get me wrong, everybody knows I am the biggest Adre Ayew fan, but he has served his dues.

  This has to be our starting eleven if Lamptey and Nuamah are fit in time. Any coach with a sense of football would make this selection, and any serious country would use these players for the World Cup.
  Don't anybody tell me Ayew has to start. He is playing in the second division, and even there he sits on the bench. Don't come at me with 'he has experience'—what did his experience do for us in the last tournaments? And don't come at me with 'he has the most goals in the qualifiers' either those teams were weak.
  Neymar hasn't been called up to the Brazil squad because Ancelotti said he’s not playing right now, yet you want to make Ayew untouchable? F***ing jokers! No, I don’t hate the Ayew family they were my favorite players some years ago, but now it’s time for a new generation. Of course, Addo can take Issahaku, Bonsu Baah, Kamaldeen, and so on—we have a good bench. But it’s time to make bold and honest decisions!"

  These comments from the GFA and other quarters are the seemingly subtle but overt intrusion into the decision making process of the Black Stars coach and his team. Yes, everyone has the right to talk but when you make such comments when you are part of a larger organization managing soccer in Ghana then you are exerting undue INFLUENCE. A GFA by-law, if one is not already in place, should be passed FORBIDDEN GFA officials from commenting/talking in public, social media, etc., about Black Stars player selection or who should play or not play in an impending match. GFA action severely undermines the coach and his technical staff and sets them up for backlash when defeated in game (well, only one team can win in a match!). Dede Ayew is not the Black Stars 'Messiah'. He is being peddled around because of his father (Is this nepotism or favoritism?). Stop this folks! There are other talented and consistent players the coach and technical team can rely on. This may sound personal, but it is not intended......Dede Ayew is self conceited....yes.....a characteristic of false pride; having an exaggerated sense of self-importance.

  It is not about just commitment. It is about RESULTS. The last few times people pleaded for Dede to be added after his exit, the coach listen but each ended in disaster. Andre's addition to the current squad will not bring any positives Black Stars don't already have. They have experience in Partey, Djiku, Kudus, Inaki, Jordan, among others. It is NOT hatred, but adding Dede takes the team backward not forward.

Ayew inclusion is very very important both for the coach and playing body not excluding the country.

Dede Ayew has been in both junior and senior national teams for TWENTY YEARS! Why, oh why doesn't he want to quit haunting the national team for younger and fresher players to take the mantle? Everybody knows Dede lacks stamina, has lost form, and is not even playing regularly in his second-tier team. Even Neymar was not picked for Brazil, because he's out of form. So what gives Andre Ayew that sense of entitlement? Does the national team belong to his father? But I don't blame him. I blame the hungry and unpatriotic journalists and bloggers, who have taken money to push this unpatriotic agenda. KMT.
