All that lawyer Atta Akyea is doing is muddying the water as they say so that the majority of the Ghana voter public, especially NPP fan base could think his client, the accussed Adu-Boahene is innocent of the crimes he is accused of.

But all one has to do to understand the thievery, abuse, misuse and mismanagement perpetrated by the accused Adu-Boahene is ask 3 basic questions: (a) are pre-financing of the bureau assigned to Adu-Boahene as a duty requirement of his post? (b) If yes, was he mandated to pre-finance using personal credit worthiness at banking and financial institutions, through private sources or in the name of the agency? (3) if not, then why are government funds either in cash or cheques deposited via his personal account carrying a name that by every account infringes on the copyright of the state agency name and account?

Yes lawyer Atta-Akyea has a brilliant defense strategy to metigate whatever the state charges may be on his client. The bigger picture that must not fall victim to the case is tge draining of the national coffers by an NPP government administration that took the NPP manifesto and creed of "property seeking democracy" to new heights through stealing, mismanagement, bribery, corruption and misuse of the public purse to accumulate personal wealth.

In the end we lose as a nation, lagging behind development and too broke to afford basic community and national necessities.

The legitimate thing to do is to borrow from a bank with evidence. This self finance act Atta Akyea is relying on could be an avenue they've created at the entity to steal anytime money is allocated for the organization which had been siphoned already by so-called useless big men.
