Because they have your physical licence you have no choice but to pay. I was told once at Dzorwulu junction that I've gone through a red light which wasn't true because I was closely behind a trotro who was allowed to go when the red light changed to green. I had to pay 300ghc to the inspector at Kotobabi police station after asking for 1000ghc. I've even printed photocopies of my licence just for this so I don't give out my physical licence card.

License at the check being done .When you run a check thru the data base it gives you a full run down of the drivers history,and many times outstanding warrants that haven't been delth with .. So the bad guy just drives away
free????....Give the police what they need to do their job.
