There are certain things that automatically disqualifies one from obtaining a permanent residence permit or green card and Ofori Atta has many things against him to be granted that status . Ofori Atta cannot apply for political asylum because his has all these criminal charges against him and he cannot politicize his criminal charges. With the affluence of Ofori Atta in Ghana , he can live the best of life in his country so why is he running away ? He must be repatriated to Ghana to face justice.

That crooked ex-Finance Minister thinks his attempt to obtain legal residency in the USA will avoid his extradition back to Ghana. What makes this lawyer think that ICE will grant Ofori-Atta's request for permanent residency when he has criminal charges pending against him in Ghana? Ofori-Atta's demented claim that he'll not be afforded a fair trial in Ghana courts can't be a good excuse to warrant ICE overlooking the criminal charges against him and and approving his application for adjustment of status. Ofori-Atta used one lie of receiving medical treatment in the USA as the reason for his delay in returning. When he realized that this medical deception will not help shield him, he conveniently decided to seek an adjustment of his immigration status to receive a USA green card. The ex-Finance Minister is a shameless thieving liar, and he'll continue to disgrace himself as his lies also continue to slip away. Let's hope his Ghana lawyer can unload his bullshit at the feet of ICE, for making silly noise in Ghana is totally different from being able to defend his client where it counts. ICE will not grant that crook an adjustment of status knowing that he has serious criminal charges pending against him in Ghana, nor will ICE entertain that devious attempt to obtain a green card while there's an active extradition case against him. Lies and deceptions are not strategies. Your lies and deceptions may be music to your fellow NPP looters, but surely not ICE.
