The test should be automatic and the citizens should be able to get their instant results after taking the test..u don’t have to go and do selective bias services and bring the results two weeks after..this is a fraud..apt ...

The candidates should have been told that only 5000 was needed among the 400,000 that showed up so the only means to help them get the best was an aptitude test on the computer whose pass mark was pegged ...

The candidates should have been told that only 5000 was needed among the 400,000 that showed up so the only means to help them get the best was an aptitude test on the computer whose pass mark was pegged at 65%. This message if known to the candidates, would have made the recruitment more fair and competitive.
And the Ministry should have made all the candidates sit the exam in a common exam hall with usable computers. Sixteen exam centers in all the regions with same starting time.
Also, Ghana govt and other private entities should never charge applicants for laboratory testing. I know some people will insult me but I will say it. In the US that I know, it’s unheard of to charge applicants for laboratory for laboratory testing. This should stop. We are 69 yrs old ! That’s why the government has hospitals in every region. They can do the labs free at the government hospitals.

There's no place on earth like Ghana. I'm confused here, 5000 passed out of 150,000 applicants, so what would have happened if half of the total applicants had passed the aptitude test? I expect the minister to tell us that though half or more than half of the applicants passed but they were looking for only 5000 so the list was scaled-down further till they got the required number. Surely there would be failures but it won't be 'mass failure' as the minister is claiming. How can he convince us that the recruitment was done devoid of usual 'political connections' and 'protocols' ? Can he tell us that he and his people had no slot? The 150,000 is such a huge number simply because the jobs are not there otherwise too many of them wouldn't have applied but look for what they really want to be. It's like let me try my luck, in twi we say 'mame bi saa'. This 'mame bi saa' has affected the professions like teaching and health where many have entered the profession but have no passion for the job. Political connections and protocols have done more harm than good because those who have passion for the job mostly don't have money, the connection or the protocol to get recruited into a job he/she desires to do. They say they are fighting corruption mpo ni oo. Hmmm
