Ghana do not deserve to be lacking in many areas yet look at the state of our economy. Greed and selfishness have been our bane. Many politicians and civil servants steal monies that they do not need, just wasting it to block others..

The same story can be said of the former Chief Of Defence Staff: he also attended the same school (F1-F5), before continuing at Sekondi College. But no where in their biographies have they mentioned that school's name. They literally feel shy to be associated with that school.

I personally know both of them - Julius only casual but the former CDS, very well.

Another famous school then was the Rowe Road, Adabraka.

But please remove the NDC from the topic: most of the people (of all tribes and political parties) on this forum do not know the true story of what the see now. Most of the older ones who know, are either stuck with Daily Graphic/Mirror/Spectator and hardly use the internet.

Imagine, for example, Madam Betty as the Attorney General, and a brother of her daughter's husband, Mr Blay son, who together had reports in tabloids of opaque car purchases and hotel land deals, be able to manage a patriotic prosecution procedure?
Is it perhaps among other reasons, why Mr Ayine is struggling currently?
What about the relationship between a former Education Minister whose handling of maths set for School came for question AND a Head of a top Fraud Investigation unit for which much is yet to be heard?
Most have taken a clue from what Mr Martin Kpebu said on a TV3 Saturday morning show.

Well, if it is an Akan relationships club, then I'm sorry ooo, but in that case the name MUST include Akan. Even then, because it was a public event not a private one, courtesy would dictate that non-Akans who were there should understand what's going, hence the need to translate into our lingua-franca: English.

Finally, before any idiot comes here to tell me I'm Ewe, I'm that I want to state it clearly that I'm 100% Akan and who knows, even if I'm not from the same town as Julius. I simply hate 'akanization' of Ghana.

Fantes speaks fante, Akuapims speaks Akuapim, Bonos speaks bono language, Nzemas speaks Nzema language, Ahantas speaks Ahanta language but all are Akan people's. There is nothing like Nzema twi, Ahanta twi. Adansi twi, Akyem twi, Fante twi, Denkyira Twi etc.
So called language professors tried to muzzle and minimize the original Akan kasa in the 1980's ending up in a fatal tautology. The general akan language spoken in the streets of Kumasi and outside Ghana is Twi from the time of Akwasi Donkor on GBC Radio 1. I hope you have learnt why Hon Julius spoke the common Twi language.
