Locals want to charge abnormal prices for their produce. Reduce your price if you want to sell. 4 Fingers of Banana is sold for GHC 10 in Teshie, Accra but I bought 32 fingers for 20ghc at Sekyere class to Nkawkaw when I was travelling from Kumasi to Accra. Why the huge difference in the Banana price? Why sell a perishable commodity at a cut throat price. Thankfully, the business of this Banana seller in Teshie has collapsed. I once approached her to tell her she can get some Banana from Sekyere and sell it cheaper to enable her get more customers but she was not interested. She tells me she gets them from a market queen....bla bla bla. Food is meant to be cheap. Ghana is too expensive. People are not reducing prices and it will make the country expensive not only for locals, but for foreigners/tourists as well.
