Should this happen these same people would come out and say why didn’t he go to the police. Jesus that we are referring to question someone who had spat on him why the person did not refer him to the elders of the law if he had done something wrong to him, that means he recognized the law. We Ghanaians must respect our constitution and rule of law and respect each others way of religion. Is that man the embodiment of Christianity and who told him he knows the right way that you can condemn someone. The Bible itself said let them grow together and God himself will remove the weeds in the last days. Where did God hired him to fight for him, how do we also know he is teaching right. Police is s also doing the work of God, blessed are the peace makers. The police institution isn’t established to sit down unconcerned, they must always act swiftly to avoid any future violence. The prophet didn’t hire the thugs or the Army but the police. Freedom of speech so you must go and insult your parents or your family head and go free, not anyone who believes in the constitution. That quack is a self-anointed apostle and a bible-toting religious liar in religious garments. Shame on the government for pandering to certain well-heeled people in society to go after others who are merely expressing the right to free speech. Yes, free speech has its limits, but when those limits are exceeded, the recourse for one claiming to have been defamed is to seek redress through civil action. The government has no business arresting citizens based on complaints of others being defamed. Such matters don't belong in criminal courts, they belong in civil courts, and the action should be filed by the complainant, and the person being accused should not be arrested. Can the authorities state how many times they've arrested people based on complaints from ordinary for defamation? I doubt it. This is nothing but kangaroo justice.
