Roger Miller and Marion Jones arrive in Accra

The celebrated Cameroonian footballer, Roger Miller and the United States Triple world female Olympic champion Marion Jones arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra on Friday for the launching of the Olympic Games Vaccine Fund in Accra on Saturday.

They were accompanied by two other Winter Olympic champions, who were met on arrival by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Joe Aggrey.

Mr Aggrey was happy that the four sports celebrities associating themselves with the promotion of vaccination against the five child killer diseases.

The athletes told newsmen that they were happy to be in Ghana and expressed the hope that their presence would make the programme a success. -
