If you are smart as an investor you will not buy any property in Ghana. When you buy check how many years are left of the land lease. Maximum is 50 years but by the time you buy a property on that land it may be much less. When that land lease expires so does your ownership of your apartment or house. Ghana is not USA When it comes to property ownership. Buyers should wisen up and realise they are only renting the property even though they think they are buying. The property will return back to the landowner.

There’s an automatic right of renewal at a reasonable rate, JON! The US operates a fee simple regime but those HOA fees also feels like indefinite rent.
