We have a country where communities are struggling on their knees begging individuals and NGOs for assistance in constructing various minor projects to better their lives, yet governments upon governments don't care. You will not understand this until you visit the villages. In a recent visit to my village, I was approached by public school headmistress pleading for assistance with a project they are struggling to undertake. I had no choice but to assist financially; this is a government obligation. If governments can sacrifice a little and cut some of these excesses, no school in our country shall teach its students under trees. Misplaced priorities.
