The NPP wankers from Kufour to Akuffo Addo to Ken Agyapong shamelessly sits on an aeroplane to go to One Party State China to borrow money . Have you ever thought about that? Funny thing is: even when One Party State Communist China give these bogus democrats the money, these money-obsessed idiots come to Ghana and do 4uck all with it. It ends up in their own pockets. Have you ever used your wonderful and fertile brain to analyse these things? Come on, boy ! Tell us something , will you?

@Kenneth, I said or wrote that Singapore has been ruled by the same Party since 1959.
Is this a compilicated sentence?
Now, I would love you to come out in your eloquent English as to why the Oppostion parties started bombing Kwame Nkrumah in 1955 when Ghana was not even a One Oarty state. The One Party State came about in 1964. Did Nkrumah and the British tell the Odious and Fatuous Danquah Busia Crap that they cannot be leaders in 1955? And, we have clearly seen the immense development and infrastructural projects that Akuffo Addo's leadership left us in 8 years! The universites, colleges, bridges roads, hospitals ,hydro dams etc are a testament of his examplary leadership. What more can we mere mortals such as "Nsia" ask for?
The National Liberation Movement (NLM) bombed the house of Kwame Nkrumah, then Prime Minister of the Gold Coast, on November 10, 1955, as part of a violent campaign to destabilize his government and force the British colonial authorities to delay granting independence. The attack was a culmination of intense political rivalry, with the NLM (backed by the Danquah-Busia opposition) aiming to disrupt the Convention People's Party (CPP) and prevent a unitary government.
Key reasons and context for the 1955 bombing include:
Violent Opposition to Independence: The NLM, which had strong roots in Ashanti, was unhappy with the prospects of independence under Nkrumah's CPP. They resorted to violence and terror acts, including bombings and attacks on CPP members, to make the country ungovernable.
Failed Electoral and Political Tactics: Frustrated by their inability to win elections (particularly after 1951) and the rapid approach of independence, the opposition sought to overthrow the government through violence rather than the ballot box.
Conflict Over Cocoa Prices: A major trigger for the conflict was the decision by the government in 1954 to fix the price of cocoa (which was low), causing significant unrest in Ashanti, the heart of the cocoa-growing region, which the NLM capitalized on.
Assassination Attempt: The bombing of Nkrumah's residence, while he was inside, was a direct attempt on his life, aimed at removing him from the political scene entirely.
The NLM's strategy was designed to force a federal system of government and to prevent the CPP from controlling the new nation, aiming for a delay in the transition to independence.

DID LEW KUAN YEW IMPRISON HIS POLITICAL OPPONENTS? My dear Kenneth, read the answer below. Thank you!
Yes, Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's first Prime Minister, frequently used detention without trial under the Internal Security Act (ISA) and defamation lawsuits to imprison, bankrupt, and neutralize political opponents, journalists, and critics during his 31-year rule. He argued these actions were essential for maintaining national security, stability, and preventing communal conflict.
Detention Without Trial: Under the ISA, many political opponents were imprisoned for years without conviction. Prominent examples include Chia Thye Poh, who was detained for 23 years and then held under house arrest for another nine.
Operation Coldstore (1963): Lee ordered the mass arrest of over 100 alleged communist sympathizers and left-wing opposition members, including leaders of the Barisan Sosialis party, to cripple political opposition before the 1963 general elections.
Libel and Lawsuits: Lee and his People's Action Party (PAP) used high-stakes defamation lawsuits to bankrupt opponents, such as J.B. Jeyaretnam and Chee Soon Juan, effectively ending their political careers.
Media Control: He stifled political dissent in the media, ensuring that journalists and publications criticizing him faced lawsuits, forcing them into submission
Justification: Lee was unapologetic, stating that it was necessary to lock up communists, language chauvinists, and religious extremists to keep the country from being "in ruins".
These actions, while enabling rapid economic development, were widely seen as creating an authoritarian state with a heavily restricted political landscape.

Yes, the United States provided significant financial and infrastructure assistance to South Korea under Park Chung-hee during the 1960s, though the nature of this aid shifted from direct grants to loans and was heavily influenced by South Korea's participation in the Vietnam War..
Following Park's 1961 coup, the US continued to support South Korea as a key Cold War ally, with aid evolving to support Park's export-oriented industrialization strategy.
Key Financial and Infrastructure Assistance (1960s)
Vietnam War Economic Boost (1965-1969): The most significant financial influx came from South Korea's involvement in the Vietnam War. In exchange for sending troops, the US paid for the modernization of the South Korean army, provided multimillion-dollar contracts to Korean civilian companies for construction and logistics, and opened its market to Korean goods.
Infrastructure & Development Loans: From 1960 onwards, US assistance shifted toward loans, financing vital infrastructure projects such as power plants, electric grids, highways, and bridges.
Support for Industrialization: US aid was utilized to support Park’s industrialization goals, including the development of cement, steel, and energy production, which helped build the foundation for the "Miracle on the Han River".
Food for Peace Program: The US provided significant agricultural aid (rice), which helped maintain low wages, allowing Korean firms to remain competitive in export markets.
