In fact, the Deputy Speaker Ahiafor has more or less taken over as the Speaker as Bagbin is always absent from work. When is Mr Bagbin going to keep quiet? Talking too much. A few days back he was talking about a third party necessity.
Where in the Republican Constitution is it stated that at all cost a third party is a pre requisite for the survival of constitutional provisions.
Here is a guy who got elected because of the numbers of a political party.
Assuming the independent members were the third party group, would Mr Bagbin had been elected after the 2020 elections as Speaker with that scanty numbers even if someone chewed one or more ballot papers?
His Family and Friends comments about the Mahama administration remains a tag on the Ndc.
If he intends not to contest again because of the enormous gains, he should just keep quiet.
