Komado is very insensitive to shift the blame of insecurity in Burkina Faso on the traders. Is it because those affected are not Ewes. Secondly, absolving Muntaka of any blame is very amazing. Were we not in this country when Muntaka condemned Wey Gey Hey management for not allowing Muslim students to wear hijab. Now we have defenseless Ghanaian traders who have been killed by Muslim jihadists yet Muntaka could not condemn the act because he is a Muslim himself who, by default, is supposed to support that act and you expect other Ghanaians to be happy about that. Secondly, Komado's suggestion that Ghana needs to provide improved tomato varieties to improve on local production also shows Komado is an arm chaur politician not worthy of our attention. In fact, tomato farmers in the Upper East Region have been able to smuggle into Ghana the very tomato varieties the Burkinabes are using but they are not able to match them in terms of quality. The difference is that the Burkinabes use compost and manure to cultivate their tomatoes whilst the Ghanaians use inorganic fertilizer to cultivate theirs. This gives the Burkina tomatoes a longer shelve life than that of Ghana. This is science and not a mere political commentry. Fools in power.

Nonsense! The people cannot defend or ensure the integrity of their own territory and you are here talking of security cooperation. What sort of security cooperation? Are we joining them in their fights, while our own borders remain porous? What are our Defence Attachés in Ouagadougou, Bamako, Niamey and the so-called Special Envoy to the AES doing about intelligence gathering in those volatile areas and its repercussions on the safety and security of our people, and the sovereignty of our nation?
You also talked hopelessly about regular or annual spillages of water from dams in Burkina-Faso, causing damage to agriculture, lives and properties in Ghana. Is it not a shame and equally sad that we have done nothing about this all this while?
Couldn’t the billions of dollars of our gold reserves, being unadvisedly used to shore up the cedi-dollar exchange rate to create a fictitious currency stability, be used to build the Pwalugu Dam, in order to harvest and harness the spilled waters for agricultural, energy, industrial and tourism purposes?
The fictitious/artificial stabilization of the cedi, backed by the unadvised liquidation of our gold reserves and the subsequent diversification of our reserve portfolio, only goes to support farmers in Burkina-Faso, Mali, Niger, Vietnam, China, Thailand, India, Pakistan, etc., and foreign suppliers of nonessential consumer products and their importers. No long-term benefit to our economy, except making us long-term dependents on those countries to our own detriment.
Again, are you not aware that the Upper Region Agricultural Development Project (URADEP), the Pwalugu, Wenchi and Nsawam Canneries that provided us with both fresh and canned tomatoes, and other food crops, collapsed and the assets misappropriated under the reigns of previous NDC governments and its forbear, the PNDC?
So, what sort of economic cooperation are you talking of, when your previous NDC governments for the past 19 continuous years supervised the reckless management and wanton dissipation of our national assets, productive capacities and economic opportunities?
Finally, in dealing with these so-called AES countries, bear in mind that they are no more members of ECOWAS.
