  Not being one to pour cold water on the introduction of a 24 hour economy,but I am unable to see where a work force is going to come from, when there is so many un skilled workers to perform the tasks.

  I don't think Ghana has got the ability to do a 24 economy just yet, on a large scale, as the businesses are not yet there to require a three shifts a day....The idea is fine as many countries have multiple shifts,but for Ghana they need to address the training of youth for the future on a much larger scale than at the moment....There are some businesses doing extended shifts,but not 24 hour.Concentrate on the work force to perform the work,then you might get somewhere....Still 5 years away in my view to be fully mobilized.

  Money is money no matter where it comes from.The Ghana armed forces have to import ammunition,little as it is....BUT LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE, EXPORT EARNINGS WOULD BE A WINNER WITH JOB CREATION...ITS A WIN WIN SITUATION.
