@ST Ghfuo. I can not agree with you more. Well said. Mahama was recently in Ethiopia and acknowledged the fast pace of development taking place there. Unfortunately, he never said anything on what measures he is taking (or will take) to ensure that we in Ghana also see a similar level of development. Our national capital Accra is an eyesore. Our roads networks are nothing to write home about. Our hospitals are falling apart. Children are still going to school under a tree. Meanwhile, after 69 years of independence our military had to call on the French to teach them how to shoot in the forest. Indeed you are not the only one who is ashamed to be associated with Ghana.

Mr. Kwaku Tee, what type of country do you think you live in? Ghana is not a country where law and order prevails. It is a country where the survival of the rich prevails. Our country is so corrupt, that such an incidence could be a daily occurrence. Ghana is a place where the impossible is made possible due to one's wealth and status in society. For example, a rich person in Ghana who assaults a poor person can still get that person he physically assaulted put in prison if the poor person dared file charges against him. He just would pay off the poor person's lawyer and the judges and the person who was offended would end up in prison. It happens very frequently in Ghana. If you live in Ghana, you should know this. Ghana's system is mostly for the rich, the connected and the politicians! Maybe you are one them, so you do not see what's wrong with that kind of system.

Until you've met some of these so-called men in uniform, you won't fully understand the plight of the chief. A station commander once told me I was lucky he didn’t have his gun on him because I joked with him during a festive season, and I didn’t even realize he was an officer since he wasn't in uniform. His behavior, however, made me lose respect for them. Honestly, if I were in the service, I believe I would have been his superior. There are good officers out there, but I think the bad ones tend to outweigh the good officers

Congratulations to the rank of ASP Awudu Razak. Yes i know many will disagree with you for exposing the police Administration and be ready PIPS shall be coming to your station. But the truth is the truth. Allah have your back. Its about time we stop that crazy punishment for transfer and Attachments. I recalled having returned from UN? My then Division Commander called Akorley wanted to sleep with my fiancee desperately but my fiancee refused his harassment and told him, she is in serious relationship with one of his Junior police officer. This stupid man have the audacity to call me into his office and warned me against my girlfriend and even told me that, my fiancee loved him than me, that they went to Agona Swedru to sleep at a Hotel when I was outside Ghana on my UN Mission, that i should stay away from his girlfriend because he love her, else he will move me from my CID department to uniform and have me Guard his bungalow. To my surprised, this crazy Senior officer did it and I spent one whole week at his bungalow on Residential Guard duty. After i had finished my one week punishment bungalow duty, I requested for a leave and accordingly resigned from the service and left the country. I was later told he declared me deserted and destroyed my record after submitting my lawful resignation letter. But I don't need at that time but I would definitely fight it. That is Ghana Police service for you. Not only the chiefs? Senior Police officers and politicians are running the show and you can't talk because you won't win against them. That is modern slavery we are fighting outside Ghana.
