  Nothing good will come out of this. NDC is covering up. They ask the ministry to investigate without timeline. This is a complete cover up. NDC is playing pilolo with Ghanaians on the matter of galamsay. Time will tell.

  I'm surprised the gov't hasn't taken any action against the DCE and other accomplices. The gov't is paying lip service to the galamsey fight why because, gold price is doing well on the world market. Why kill the chicken that's laying the golden eggs?, the gov't seems to ask behind the scenes. Personally, the previous gov't fought the galamseyers vigorously than this gov't. Per what they said while in opposition, I thought they'll do better than npp gov't but this is not what's on the ground. In fact, Ghana lacks leaders because why the gov't is unable to implement what they said they would do if voted into power?

  President Mahama cannot remain the Mr Gentleman and peace maker like his predecessor Atta Mills when his own appointees are involved in Galamsey ,a crisis that he vowed to fight. There are some elements in his government who will go against his agenda to enrich themselves and the earlier he dismisses them the better for him . Anybody involved in this galamsey extortion should be fired , prosecuted and jailed.
