  The NDC is intent on spreading propaganda against the opposition for cheap political gain. This is clearly evident in the run-up to Mahama's second term, with the subtle implication that the corruption allegations against his first term were unfounded. They are beating the drum of better economic performance by stabilising the dollar against the cedi, which soared under the NPP administration. However, this is exacerbated and belied by the lack of any rational, sustainable, or transformative economic policy, except selling gold to raise foreign exchange reserves to boost imports of foreign goods. I am therefore very confident that posterity will be kind to the Akufo-Addo NPP administration in terms of better management of the economy in the near future.
