All Ghanaian politicians are pretenders, I mean they pretend they want power to develop the nation and seek the welfare of its citizens. Their primary motive is to win power to amass wealth and abuse power. Unlike Ghana a good country like the United States, which knows that Burkina Faso is a terrorist infested nation, especially its northern part, they would have constantly issued travel warnings to Ghanaian traders because they care about their people. I will choose those traders over Ghanaian politician any day because they are contributing to our economy than all the politicians. This country is under developed because politicians, it's long overdue for the military to take over the country from these greedy politicians.

Well said bro..greed is the downfall of the average Ghanaian..yesterday I read an article that states categorically that Ghanaians buy about 90% of the tomatoes produce in Burkina Faso..so if Ghanaians stop being greedy and don’t go to Burkina Faso again to buy their tomatoes, it will affect them heavily since they depend on Ghanaians to buy..Burkina Faso and the northern part of Ghana have similar climate, weather and land( soil).. so why is Burkina able to grow tomatoes all year round and Ghana cannot do same..the answer is Burkina Faso has a leader who has brains to invest in irrigation, But Ghana has politicians who can talk big on global stage but don’t have any brains to do the right thing..let Ghanaian govt also have brains and invest in irrigation in the north or any part of Ghana..farmers can grow tomatoes all year round..this is not rocket science..Ibrahim Traore, a young guy in his 30’s was able to do it, why can’t Mahama in his 50’s or something do it..asem s3b3..

I have read most of the comments here and I must say some of them makes absolute sense..why must u cross border just to go and buy common tomatoes..as much as our Ghanaian govt is useless, incompetent and senseless, some of our Ghanaian brothers and sisters are greedy and stupid..Burkina Faso grows tomatoes, so what it means is that, they need buyers..without buyers, their tomatoes will be rotten..so they have to rather find ways and means to bring it to Ghana.. Burkina Faso rather has to find ways and means to transport their tomatoes to Ghana..because of greed, some Ghanaians wants to go there and buy it at a cheaper price and rather come and sell it at expensive prices in Ghana..there is no sense cordoning such a dangerous border just to go and buy common tomatoes knowing very well Burkina Faso is not that safe..sometimes our people needs to apply wisdom..greed is the downfall of the average Ghanaian
