They both sued for different reasons. The man sued to get rid of his cohabitating fiance of 11 years. The woman COUNTER SUED for benefits. The woman won.
This is a very fair judgement. In fact, the woman deserved more than the GHC 200,000.
The man should have known that verbal promise is also valid, let alone living with a woman for 11 years.

It will be interesting to see what happens to those women who just come in for the money, promise marriage, bonk somewhere else and the run away.

11 years of cohabitation? 10 years of cohabitation is deemed to be marriage in the eyes of the law.
