It can be argued that it is better for Ibrahim Mahama to be given the concession with Ghana earning over 50 percent of the profit, than a foreign investor taken it for free, paying 5 to 12 percent, building school in the area for charity, getting the money back in their home country through tax, bribing minister's with 2 percent for 4 years, and the minister's in collusion and lying to Ghanaians about how good the deal is for Ghana. As a patriot, I prefer Ibrahim with a better deal than a foreign investor.
