A father who refuses to contribute to the welfare of their children can easily end up in prison. Same goes for any parents whether man or woman who through negligence allows a child to suffer harm or even die- a custodial sentence is usually handed down and can even result in culprits being charged with manslaughter or murder.
IT IS TIME FOR OUR LAWS TO BE FURTHER FINE TUNED TO ENSURE CHILDREN ARE WELL PROTECTED.
Allowing a man to unknowingly invest time money and effort raising another man’s offspring is the height of cruelty and betrayal.
I think the government should set up reputable free DNA testing centres for cases of doubtful paternity.
MEN SHOULD WISE UP, WATCH THEIR OWN BELIEFS AND CHOOSE A LIFE PARTNER WEL, BASED ON SOUND VALUES.
Choosing a life partner merely based on their looks, their family connections, wealth or their possession of a desirable foreign passport IS EXTREMELY FOOLISH. Having these can be an added bonus but far more important is the CHARACTER AND BELIEFS OF THE PERSON YOU ARE HOPING TO MARRY:
1.Do they believe that marriage is a bond which must never be broken by the presence of a third party?
2.Do they treat you and others with consideration and respect, and do they have a generous spirit?
3.Are they hardworking and ambitious and have some idea of what they want to achieve in life (not day dreamers though)?
4.Are they truthful, honest and DO THEY HAVE INTEGRITY?
5. Are they good at handling money? Do they budget carefully and know how to economize or are they extravagant and just live for the moment? It pays to be frugal (living within or below your means) so that you can save and have some left to invest wisely. MONEY RELATED PROBLEMS CONTINUE TO TOP THE LIST OF CAUSES OF MARRIAGE BREAKDOWN EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
All the above desirable traits can be naturally found in a Godly person as described in the scriptures.
