  I love fugu but this fugu day is opportunistic to the least!! Now there the proposal to wear it to school!! This whole idea smacks of sycophancy from the minister proposing it. We have the Friday traditional wear day and fugu features prominently why a whole day alone in the week for fugu? Even the president doesn’t wear fugu that often. And if the minister must know fugu is a prestigious traditional wear that must not be worn basabasa!!

Fugu nor Kente is not associated with one particular tribe. Nkrumah was never a Northerner yet he loved to wear fugu.
