Thank you Mahdi Jibril for saying it as it is. The majority caucus called for the cancellation of the elections because their favourite candidate did not win. The question they should be asked is - "what was the purpose of the ¢100,000 they presented to Hajia on the eve of the elections? How many of them can confidently say that they have not induced voters to vote for them before? For me, my greatest joy was the fact that the spousal inheritance nonsense was dealt a devastating and debilitating blow which should serve as a deterrent to would be widows and possibly widowers of MPs.
