ALL OF THESE IDIOTS WERE ADVISING ON THE ECONOMY. THE FOOD GLUT IS AT THE FARM GATE, NOT IN THE MARKET. WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ADVISING IS FOR GOVT TO TAKE STEPS TO BUY AND MOVE THE GRAINS TO THE BIG CITIES WHERE THE DEMAND IS. EXPORTING THEM WITHOUT BUILDING AT LEAST THREE YEARS BUFFER COULD BE CATASTRPOHIC IF THERE IS CROP FAILURE THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF POOR RAIN OR ANY OTHER REASON. THE EMPHASIS SHOULD BE BUFFER, BUFFER, BUFFER, NOT EXPORT. BUT WAIT A MINUTE, HOW CAN ECONOMIC MISMANAGERS A YEAR AGO ALL OF A SUDDEN BECOME MESSIAHS OF GOOD ECONOMIC ADVISORS? WE ARE NOT AS FOOLISH AS DR. BOAKO AND HIS ILK.

This Dr Boako is the chief economic advicer to the former vice president Dr Bawumia. I am not surprise that these people colapsed the economy before they were voted out by Ghanaians

This is the first time I’ve heard this man is making sense in Ghana politics. Last year by this time a bag of maize was ranging from GH 800-1200, being a Ghanaian as a farmer, I don’t expect food shortages in our country or people buying food from the market too expensive to afford, we are selling a bag of maize in the rural areas at the cost of GH 400 and even finding it hard to get buyers, every develop nation was built on agriculture, roads and commerce before anything else, these are the 3 pillars for a country to grow in economy and stabilisation. It’s only in Ghana the government has failed farmers. Elsewhere in the west the government subsidies most of the things the farmers need coupled with credit availability. We are not getting buyers from Ghana and the government has restricted access for farmers to sell their produce to neighbouring countries, is this a punishment for we the farmers or what? There’s a news outlets somewhere that, the government through the ministry of finance is going to borrow from the world bank to feed Ghanaians Burkina Faso is 30 yeas ahead of Ghana.
