  Job for the boys. Common “borla” the MMDAs can’t manage and you want to compound their problems, with more responsibilities. Stop that caricature of decentralisation and devolution of power, where the president still appoints MMDCEs and 30% of assembly members, and allow residents of metropolis, municipalities and districts to elect their own chief executives and all assembly members, through universal adult suffrage. Then you can start talking about proper decentralisation and devolution of power.

  President Mahama must not rush to dump Ghana
