This measure will eventually destroy the youth in Ghana and bring about some serious health challenges that the nation's health infrastructure cannot handle and our current health systems are not equipped to meet such challenges. This programme was implemented in the United States, where the health infrastructures are sophisticated and laid out to handle complex health issues. Recently, some doctors in the States have started reporting on the health complications resulting from legalisation of cannabis cultivation. Ghanaians don't have the legal and the moral sensitivity to obey the laws that would guide the implementation of such a measure. Some people are going to approach it like pure water is being sold. The moment people realize the profitability of such cultivation, it is going to be done en mass, with almost everybody joining. This measure should be nipped in the bud before it destroys Ghana.
