Hmmm Mr Minister,
Is the government going to give parents money to buy the “Our day cultural wear”? Implementing this will pose unnecessary hardship for parents.

idiotic reasoning. Cultural should not and can not be attached to the silly social media banter with zambia. The president and other leaders in the past have worn fugu to the UN and other global events. If those are not seen as important for selling ghana culturally, it is not the small zambia nonsense.
The president of zambia is not very popular and any association with will be seen in a negative light by citizens especially those on social media.

This coming from someone we call our Education Minister, he must be relieved of his position. Does he know why students are made to wear UNIFORMS to look 'uniform'? Is he talking about students whose parents can't afford sanitary pads for their teenage girls? Why did government introduce free SHS and school feeding? Does he know the financial burden Career Day is causing most parents? Last year, I saw a single mother and her 2 kids crying because she couldn't afford to buy them outfits for Career Day. I had to give her GHC 500. Can all parents afford them annually? Has he thought about parents with 4 or more kids in school?
Has he considered the unnecessary ethnic competition that this is going to cause in some schools? This is going to cause more ethnic division among students than unity. These knee jerk decision by politicians must be discouraged! We don't want Mamprusi-Kusasi division in our schools.

Ghana's diverse cultural identity. This suggestion from the honorable minister is a great one since it will promote Ghana's diverse cultural identity and not promoting only fugu which is the dress of the northern people of Ghana. Any policy or suggestion that focusses on regular wearing of fugu alone for all Ghanaians will not be a true reflection of the diverse cultures of the people of Ghana. It will only be political, and egocentric and such recommendation should not be entertained in Ghana.
Again, wearing this precious fugu on regular basis will reduce its value to that of the ordinary wears in Ghana. Fugu is a special valuable dress for dignitaries and special outings. Do nothing to devaluate this dress because of politics and egocentrism. Please preserve the value of our fugu for us.
