Nana, please bring back Herbert Mensah to run the team. At least he will get sponsorship and not run into debts even though he will pay himself well.

Kotoko may lose matches, but they lose with empty pockets, unpaid salaries, and injured legs. They suffer honestly for the badge.
The NPP, however, wins power in Ashanti, controls the economy, resources, and state authority—yet after victory, character gives way to comfort, and loyalty is repaid with……
Kotoko can only lose games.
A government can lose a people.
Nana, Kotoko breaks our hearts on Sundays—NPP breaks disappointments us every day.

Sir, Kotoko can improve by strengthening professional leadership, ensuring transparency, and allowing technical decisions to be made on merit. Stability in coaching, disciplined player recruitment, and investment in youth development are key. With better management, modern training systems, financial accountability, and unity among stakeholders, the club can restore its pride, excellence, and respect.

The Bono kingdom is always under your skin. Be honest and sincere. In most cases, some of the Ashanti subchieves are also a disgrace to your chiefdom.

Sir you don’t know how to play soccer so you don’t have to say anything. Soccer is money now if you want them to do good give them money to run the club. Don’t just sat there and say what you want

Before Kotoko became a powerhouse, Accra Standfast were already wearing full red — shirt, shorts, socks — as their official identity in the 1940s and early 1950s. That all-red look was theirs first.
When Standfast collapsed,. Kotoko later embraced red and made it iconic — but historically, the pure all-red uniform was Accra Standfast’s signature..
Kotoko initially played in striped shirts (red and white stripes) at some point in the 1940s.
They also used combinations of red and white, not full red.
So the pure all-red (shirt, shorts, socks) was not Kotoko’s foundational look. Their colours evolved over time.
But hold; if Accra Standfast ceased to exist, can Kotoko adopt Accra Standfast colours?
Technically:
Yes — no rule in football stops a club from changing colours if another
In African football culture especially, colours matter
For Kotoko, red is now deeply symbolic:
Aggression
Power
Royal Ashanti pride and warrior spirit (porcupine symbolism)
Even if Standfast originally wore all-red first, Kotoko’s decades of dominance reshaped the meaning of red in Ghana football.
So in terms of bragging rights:
Standfast → original ownership of all-red.
Kotoko → popularised and immortalised red.
History gives Standfast origin credit.
Success gives Kotoko cultural ownership. I’m a diehard Phobian but for football to come back to what it used to be let’s tell our stories in positive ways and avoid negativity
