I agree with your comments, however, Baba Jamal case was controversial because he was already appointed as an ambassador. By doing what he did, means he was not satisfied with what the president offered him and this was greediness. As a Moslem, the Quran said you should be satisfied and content with what you have and he will give you more, but not being greedy.

  I believe most MPs did vote buying, but what makes Baba Jamal's case exceptional was that he was given an ambassador position and he abandoned the post to contest for MPs. The worst thing was that as an ambassador, he made his vote buying very obvious and he also admitted to distributing TVs and money to the delegates. I believe an action needs to be taken against him to help stop vote buying, otherwise, parliament will be filled with unqualified MPs.
