P/NDC played a role in the break down of discipline in our SHS. The change from O & A Levels to SHS is not allowing students to spend more yrs in school, to allow them to explore and have fun. I would admit there used to be rivalry in our days in the 80s, but it wasn't to this level. Many of our youth of late are so tensed bcoz of the demands of the society and their parents. The result is the cause of this violent behaviour. Majority of these students are likely to fail their WASSCE.

Students caught committing violent crimes should be made to face the full rigours of the law.
What has become of the murder case at the Christian Methodist SHS, Ngleshi Ama from, in the Greater Accra Region, and other criminal cases in which students were arrested?
If the law does not take its course in such matters, there will be no deterrence to crime, and our SHSs will increasingly develop into breeding grounds for violent crime.
I hope our Political Leadership will take up this matter very seriously.
