I feel very sad for President John Mahama, this deputy minister and her boss do not deserve their positions.Any intelligent leader would recognise that GPRTU are the main brain behind the difficulties in our transportation sector. The Minister needs to be bold to call GPRTU Leaders, who have formed a cartel which is creating this problem to change their ways.

The difficulties in our public transportation sector was created by GPRTU. The Govt shd take back all our Lorry stations and give it back to the Assemblies. The Assemblies shd then be instructed to deal with companies with large fleet of Big buses for our commercial transport. Transport business is highly lucrative and we expect the Govt to come up with good policies to attract big investors.Any good Govt shd be thinking of how to ban Trotro in the immediate future instead of getting loans to buy more buses.

Please Madam, get train coaches and build the railway lines instead of buses. There are too many cars on the road. The traffic on the roads does not worth adding more buses. Better yet, let the GPRTU partner with government in the transport business and get all the trotros off the road. Hire all the trotro drivers to drive the buses. The drivers become share holders of the government transport and employees as well. Additionally, whisper to the presideent to pay all government workers biweekly. It will cut down civil service corruption and bribery. Thank you for all you do for our people.

Can't we build a rail from say Dodowa through Madina to Accra. Kasoa to Accra and also revive the Nsawam to Accra one too? These buses are not strong and will soon breakdown. It's a waste of money.

These idiotic politicians have no transportation systems or plans but they just want to bring in more buses to the already existing ones to pollute Accra.
