A nation called Ghana, it seems we are cursed for some reason. Today, Kotoka is seen as an enemy by today's Ghanaians and trust me, a time will come that the name Jerry John Rawlings's name will be expunged from our books because what was the basis of his two coups in Ghana?

The February 24th, 1966, coup was 60 years and most of these parliamentarians were not around during those days in Ghana that led to Nkrumah's ouster, but they are here using one-sided narrative to smear Kotoka. If he wasn't killed around the airport vicinity, I don't think the airport would have named after him.

If Kotoka was a coup maker so his name must go, then why is it that Ohene Djan name was removed from Accra sports stadium? Was Ohene Djan a coup maker that warranted his name removed if what the gov't is saying is anything to go by? The whole plot is to satisfy the demand of Ga people because Kotoka wasn't an indigenous son of the land. Ga people are on agenda to get rid of anything that doesn't promote Ga culture and traditions. Remember the popular welcome symbol in akan AKWAABA well displayed at KIA ? They said akwaaba isn't Ga word and therefore doesn't promote Ga culture so they are replacing it with their preferred Ga word. Ga people are trying to be tribalism and if care isn't taken, they will say that if you are not Ga or can't speak Ga language, you can't work at the airport because the youth of the land are jobless. They must remember that state monuments were constructed with tax payers money and lands were compensated for by the state so they must put on the breaks. What did they say when a location in Accra was named after a foreign couple maker called Thomas Sankara ? Similarly, Thomas Sankara, Rawlings etc must also go with Kotoka period.
