The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has claimed that prayers by the intercessors of his church averted the chaos and bloodshed he foresaw in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.

According to him, even though he is not paid by the NPP, he did all he could to ensure that their primaries was violence-free.

He noted that despite all his efforts, members of the party keep insulting him for no reason.

“It hurts me that some people don’t appreciate us. We are not on the payroll of the NPP, but because of what God told me, I give my intercessors sleepless nights. On Fridays, they stay in church praying into the night so that nothing evil would happen during the primaries.

“They don’t pay us for what we do, yet in spite of what we do, they insult us, because God spoke to me that we should pray so that nothing bad happens,” he said.

“So, when they finished the election and there was nothing evil that happened, I was so thankful to God. There was no bloodshed, which means that God stopped the negativity He revealed to us because we prayed,” he added.

Rev Owusu-Bempah, during his 31st Night Service on December 31, 2025, said that the presidential primaries of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) was likely to become bloody if care was not taken.

He, therefore, urged members of the party and the general public to pray to avert it.

“NPP, please listen to this. Don’t despise what I’m saying to you… I saw an image which had human characteristics; it was like a human being. And this personality was standing in the midst of the contestants who were contesting in the flagbearership race.

“I saw that the personality, the image standing in the midst of the contestants, was bleeding, and I was asking God what the significance of this was. And God said to me that the party’s election, if care is not taken and they are not careful, will become chaotic and there will be bloodshed, and some people will lose their lives in the process, and it will lead to division in the party,” he said.

“Don’t despise what I’m saying. This is not politics; I’m not doing politics here. This is about the lives of people,” he added.
