MTN and AT allow third party companies to subscribe MTN and AT customers to their (third party companies’) platforms/Apps without the knowledge and consent of customers. These unsolicited and unconsented subscriptions may cost as much as GHC 1 per day. I keep unsuscribing them, yet new subscriptions keep coming. I have not experienced this with Telecel. Why do MTN and AT allow this robbery? Is it because they benefit in terms of more data consumption and hence more revenue? Hon. Sam George and NCA, are you aware of this? They have joined forces to rob customers.

@New Hope. Say, a company, XYZ are the business of giving tips on health and fitness. They subscribe you on to their platform without your knowledge. And you are supposed to access their tips daily (which never happens, anyway) and you are deducted data worth their fee daily (say 50 pesewas per day) on your blind side.

Ideally, they should make an offer and let you decide to subscribe or not. But they join you on to their platform without you knowing it. For MTN, you can dial *175# to check for subscriptions and unsuscribe. You may search online for codes for AT and Telecel.
