P/NDC created these transport problems we are going thru in the 80s.Their decision to handover all public lorry stations to GPRTU, which hitherto were in the hands of local Assemblies. That decision has made massive investment in commercial transport by international investors unprofitable. The reason why individuals have taken over that industry bringing so much indiscipline on our roads. For now the only solution is for NDC Govt to be bold and take the proper decision to bring sanity in that important area of the nation.

For some of us we are so glad NDC govt led by President John Dramani Mahama is experiencing these ugly crises championed by GPRTU, their favourite baby. Blame NDC bcoz the leadership of GPRTU are all NDC members.

GPRTU is playing a major role in this chaos and indiscipline in commercial transport (Trotro) business. For example why shd Madina Main Station demand between GHC8,000 to GHC10 000 b4 a Sprinter bus can be registered to work at their station? It's not only in Madina Accra, all over the country. One would ask where are these huge fees going to and does the Assemblies and the govt benefit from these exploitation.
