Any discerning mind that followed the tournament would agree that the Moroccan coach started the mind games. He was the first to state that ppl had been saying the referees were calling for Morocco but it wasn't true. It was true, in all 50/50 situations the refs called mostly for Morocco. It was long b4 the Senegal game where the Moroccans displayed their towel war.
Do seniors on this platform remember in the 70s when a Moroccan team los t in Kumasi against Kotoko and destroyed furniture at City Hotel calling it a substandard downtown hotel?

You have not touched the root of the crisis and this is a worldwide cancer that is eating the sport into disrepute. The AFCON spectacle is only a byproduct of the inherent maladministration of the sport.
Let us address the matter without a myopic, pontificating posture and find genuinely lasting solutions for the good of the sport.
Reputation is everything.

I tried to state same somewhere else. The lazy narrative that this is something limited to or African. If these had happened on another continent, it would have been declared just another tournament by the pundits. English fans destroying property during Euro and Messi and Argentina walking off the field at half time during South American tournaments or an English team walking out on Arsenal during FA Cup. Is the VAR too of an 'African Quality' and not 'trained' to the level or standard of football on the field?
