  Absolutely true! This demonstration is counterproductive. Ken Ofori Atta, the Piccadilly armed robber can site that as a reason for seeking asylum. It's easy to use that, with evidence, that his life will be in danger if he returns to the jurisdiction. And with the demo happening right in front of the US Embassy, evidence will abound.

  2.The media pillage of the man and picketing rather is helping the man to Justify the reason why he will not be safe coming to his home country.
  
  3.Just look at the fact that some people abandoned work to even be at the court premises with placards etc?
  
  4.The man has only been charged with 78 counts of offences!!!
  
  5.And 78 counts?? Let's remember he has the financial muscles the network and the links so Snr if he is in Ghana and he goes to court I tell you a skillful lawyer would delay the case through technicalities and injunction etc etc and it can take ages!!
  
  6.And nobody should dispute that because Article 13,14,15 ,17 and 19 of your 1992 especially Article 19 talks about Fair Trial a fundamental Human Right!!
  
  7.It will interest you to know that Sedinam Attiome the Masloc boss Who was tried and convicted Said in court here on 20th Jan that she is not coming to Ghana she us supposed to appear on Jan 27th to establish the fact.
  
  8.The Law grinds slowly and The the Attorney General might go public but the fact that someone has been charged with the offence does not make him or her guilty so therefore your Attorney General has no control over court proceeding once the docket leaves his desk.The court must decide the fate of the said individual after hearing all sides.
  
  9.For some of us here in the legal profession both in academia and practise we say you folks must slow down and need be move out from the social media hysteria and allow the judicial system here and there to do their work.
  
  10.Have you realised in the romance scam involving some Ghanaians it took the FBI 8 to 9 years of painstaking spotless and thorough investigation to get
  those persons in their grips and in some cases asked they be repatriated to face trial?
  
  11.One thing I have learnt is that it's not the business of the Prosecutor nor the Defence lawyers to help either side to win their case but in this instance some activities are rather helping the Defendant to win his case!!!

  You might also have forgotten he is a suspect and has not been teied and convicted by any competent court of jurisdiction anywhere now and in law there is a difference between who a suspect is,who an. Accuse is,and whoo a convict is.
  
  In the US here and all over the world the court of Public opinion has never convicted an accused person its about the law the person has broken and the law iss the law!!
