University for what ? Ghana will soon be a number one producer of unemployed graduates in the world. There are uncountable number of private universities, faith based universities augmenting public universities. All these universities churn out thousands of graduates annually so why a new public university at this time? It's a total misplaced priority to say the least. No jobs creation but producing job seekers in large numbers. What Ghana needs is job creation, jobs for the youth not universities. The universities are more than enough looking at our population so the attention must be on how to employ the graduates.
